Adult Program
*** As of September 4, 2018 the state requires ALL students to obtain a Temporary Instruction Permit (TIP), from the Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV). Students need the TIP card to take the class exam, and participate in the behind the wheel portion of the course.
Be sure to bring the following items to the OMV to receive your TIP card:
Proof of identification
Proof of residency
Verification of your Social Security Number
Acceptable verification includes your Social Security card, W2 form, or a print out from the Social Security Administration verifying the number. If you do not have a Social Security Number, a letter from the Social Security Administration must be presented. The number may also be given verbally.
You must also present one additional form of identification such as a photo work ID, high school diploma, insurance card, etc.
Please note: $100 non-refundable fee required for registration. (48 hr. in advance cancellation is eligible for a $60 refund)

Behind the Wheel Training
This is a critical part of the student's training. As it should be with any training, we drive immediately after the class training with minimal delays. We exclusively use safety-proven vehicles with dual-controls, anti-lock brakes and front and side air bags.
Individualized Driving Instruction: We progress at your teen's rate, without any other teens to distract or embarrass them.
Qualified, Trained Instructors: Our instructors get more than TWICE the training required, and they are continually retrained.
Vehicle Awareness: We teach that the driver is the pilot of the vehicle and it is the driver's responsibility to know their vehicle. A safe driver knows their vehicle and knows what to do to keep from damaging the vehicle (i.e. the significance of the oil light or the alternator light.)
Intersection Awareness Skills: It's not the stop sign or traffic light that causes a crash. Most accidents occur at intersections and we will train the student in skills to avoid crashes.
Space Cushion Management: Controlling space around your vehicle takes a pro-active driver and discipline. These skills DO NOT happen naturally.
Detailed Evaluation: Insights from your teen's instructor as to where they need more attention, practice or more training. Again, we don't leave you out there without giving you a "heads-up" as to where your new driver may put themselves in danger.
(8) Planned Driving Hours, minimum, of Individual Driving Instruction. The training is done by appointment; each appointment includes two hours of one-on-one driver training.
